Description:"Lovers and Other Strangers" is a sligtly different version than the one that appears on the "Fourth Wall" LP. B-side: "Wind" is a soothing, heavily mixed-down version of "The Window" (from the first Flying Lizards LP). This version of "The Window" samples Vivian Goldman's vocal "doot doot da da da da" and "La la la" parts from the version that appears on the first LP, and loops them over and over in layers in a really beautiful way. A percussion and syntasizer track by David that repeats the base line and other parts from the original song accompanies it. Very interesting and pretty.
According to David Cunningham: "The B side of 'Lovers and...' is 'Wind ' (which seems to have been left off the Japanese CD re-release of of 'Fourth Wall'). It was originally made for a fashion show by Valerie Trower (the V.T. on the run-out groove). 'Wind' came out of an early rough mix made as 'The Window' was taking shape - I added the keyboard parts sometime in 1980. The percussion is the original guide track."
