*For
your safety and convenience, I have made the description below of how to
listen to my radio show as wordy and confusing as possible.
I
do a live internet radio broadcast every Monday night 7-9pm EST from my
living room - on cam! I fill the two hours with whatever I want to - answer
questions, sing songs, go on black Jeruselum rants, perform Santoria rituals
live on the air, asnswer romance and finance questions that you want to
email to me, scream. It's very theraputic. All you need to listen is a
Real Player, or Windows Real Media or blah, blah, blah... I can't
do "call-ins" (yet - but boy I can't wait), however I can answer questions
that you email to me at any time! It's hard to read emails (at this point)
while we are on the air, so if you have a question, email it to Mark
preferably before a scheduled show, just put "Question for radio show"
in the subject head of the email. I'll respond to it while I am on the
air. NEW!!! AOL Instant Message me! AIM name: madampsychosis. For upcoming
show schedule, see below:

make retarded pee pee and poo poo jokes so be warned)

VACATION FOR SUMMER
Past shows:
6/10/02: After last week's John Cage tribute... tonight Mark promises a show to end all shows. It will be the best damn show on this particular bandwidth at this particular time!!! His guests will include the lovable and hate-able team of Sammy (someone please bid on this guy's burnt-up, radioactive, useless microwave!) and also Gregory. Other guests will include a spontaneous visit by one of Mark's massage clients who happens to be dropping by. Intrigue guaranteed or at least guaranteed faked!!! It will be more wholesome and satisfying than a 4-D granola canoli with 2-D stromboli! Email Mark or email Gregory or email Sammy before the show with questions or whatever. Or AOL IM Mark (AOL IM name: madampsychosis) while on the air with questions or insults or whatever for me or Sammy or Gregory.
5/27/02:
Yes
there will be a show tonight - with no plans. I will talk about my Paris
trip and see whatever else happens. It will be like repeatedly shooting
a dust witch in Antarctica from a high glacier with a rubber band while
the bright sunlight reflects off all the white hot ice. Email
me during or before the show. Or AOL IM me (AOL IM name: madampsychosis)
while on the air with questions or insults or whatever. "See" you then...
Music
played:
John
Coltrane "Ascension - Edition II" from Ascension
on Impulse! Records played through scratchy headphones on echo while Mark
hid under the bed and whispered paranoid schizophrenic nothings into the
mic about scalps and bones and lists of laundry and did his best "Repulsion"
imitation until everyone switched off their radio connections, Sonic
Youth "Disconnection Notice", "Rain On Tin",
"Plastic Sun" and "Sympathy For the Strawberry" from their forthcoming
album Murray Street on DGC/Interscope
5/13/02 and 5/20/02: No shows while I'm out of town. Be back on 5/27/02!
5/6/02:
(listen to this show now archived - link above) Sammy/Mark/Gregory
LIVE in studio - wish Mark "the best" in France. Sammy and Gregory kick
Mark's ass out of the door of his own apartment before he flys off to join
the other art snobs in the seedy underbelly of the art gallery ghetto alleys
of newly Nazi-controlled Paris (Mark will be in Paris from May 12th - May
21st). As we all know, the Mark/Gregory/Sammy combination = frictional,
crackling, echo-y ratings, so: today's show (tomorrow if you are reading
this on Sunday) will be trio-ized (that's three) again, until the gall
bladder is open and activated and the eclair runs goo and the glitter is
spackled over with white. Anyway, today's show will be Mark, Sammy and
Gregory LIVE IN STUDIO in Mark's apartment, again - as Gregory and Sammy
wish Mark "the best" in "fucking" France and try to come to terms with
why Mark is such a "snob" and why they are they are doing the show anyway
and try to hide their jeleousy, which Mark will use to surf around the
room and avoid the sharks of their green insults. We all realize that dolphins
are dumb and salad is stupid and fatty flesh is what we really crave. Give
us hot blood. This time Mark promises to set up the mic and mixing board
in the most glorious, pro fashion so we don't all sound like Gonzo the
Muppet talking into a walkie talkie into a stadium amplifier. But Mark
doesn't really care at this point as he's about to go have an exhibition
of his photography in Paris and Sammy and Gregory can kiss his fucking
regal ass - so as you can see It will be so profuckingfessional and antagonistically
pick-up-sticks-game prickly and EVOL-y luscious that your head will self-immolate
from the visceral audio thrill of the bloody fireworks in the faces of
three bombastic frienimies! Mark will take notes with a Le Pen. Mark will
also be "illegally" "broadcasting" tracks from his "stolen" copy of Sonic
Youth's new album "Murray Street" - which will be released in late June.
Sammy and Gregory will roll their eyes and stab Mark with Le Pen. It will
be as fucky-sucking delectible as your first kill and ten million times
as interesting as the first time you saw your name in flashing lights.
Email
Mark or Gregory
or Sammy before hand or Mark on
the air to get an immediate response. Or AOL IM Mark (AOL IM name: madampsychosis)

4/22/02:
(listen to this show now archived - link above) Mark,
Sammy and Gregory ALL live in-studio = RATINGS BONANZA!!! (mp3 recording
of this recent show above) As we all know Sammy = ratings, so: today's
show will be Sammy-fied to the blissful, gooey, over-stuffed envelope of
hope. As well as Gregory-fied to the pink dusty razor extreme. Isn't this
poetry sad? Anyway, today's show will not be sad poetry - it will will
be Mark, Sammy and Gregory LIVE - no not on the phone - but IN STUDIO in
Mark's apartment chatting it up for the whole two hours. I am going to
set up my couch to accomidify Sammy and Gregory with their own microphones
and little bowls of popcorn and pretzels and soda and floating robotic
butlers and lots of powdered Similac Baby Formula for Gregory and I will
sit and my desk as control central powerman and we will talk about anything
and everything. It will be so fucking professional that your head will
explode! It will be fucking delicious as fuck and ten times as interesting
as molasses pured over an ant hill. Email
Mark or email Gregory
or email Sammy before the show.

punish the wicked. It will be fucking delicious as fuck. Email

Tune
in to hear YES I'M PRETENDING YOU ASKED FOR IT! a re-play of Mark Allen
and Gregory's "in"-famous appearance on
WFMU(.org)'s
"Listener Hour" way back in... when was that, April 2001? Anyway, back
then, thanks to an invite from the infinitely faboo WFMU DJ Pseu
Braun... Gregory and I trucked it on over to the WFMU studios in New
Jersey, pre-recorded an hour long "Listener Hour" show (which aired the
following morning at like 9AM or something) and since nobody was listening
at that ungodly hour - here it is again! You can see the "live" cam captures
from the WFMU studios that we broadcast onto my site as we were recording
the show (follow along! - actually there were originally 60 shots) near
the bottom half of my webcam
gallery 14 page. This was the first attempt that Gregory and I ever
made at "radio" - long before Gaycams radio - we played farts through effects
boxes, vagina noises recorded with contact mics, read crazy people's flyers,
played an hour-long scream record and "sang" from a restraining order that
Gregory and I both have against some nut. As you can see we've come really
far. It was quite a time capsule of a year ago in our little lives. I don't
have WFMU's permission to "re-broadcast" this (hahaha!) but since only
about two people listen to my show - who cares! Anyway, since THIS RADIO
show is only an hour long, and I will be playing a tape I have of it, the
first and last half hour of MY REGULAR 2 HOUR RADIO SHOW will be filled
with the usual. Got all that? Think about it... I haven't! Email

New
Year's Eve! Join me and my French friend Guillaume as we drink red wine,
talk bad French (and even worse English) and "count down" to the point
where there are three hours left until midnight!! For two hours! Email
us or AOLIM us at madampsychosis while on the air with questions or
insults you FRENCH PIGS!! So if you haven't guessed by now, for New Year's
I am going to be spending the evening with Guillaume in my apartment, on
cam. We are going to be doing my radio show from 7-9pmEST "French style!"
We will wish in the new year with red wine, foie gras and toast points!
And we will be having awkward, strained conversations about French views
on film, internet sex and techno music. I'm not kidding. Then we are going
wash, I mean wish in the new year by drinking too much red wine (heh heh,
clever no? Get it? Wash? Wish? What?) and watching Godard's "Weekend" on
my cam, after the radio show. Tune in and watch us watch a movie and get
shit-faced in the face of pretentious cinema! We will get drunk and join
the abstract, post-structuralist revolutionaries Roland and Corinne as
they shit on the civilized French capitalists with Three Stooges-style
car accidents, rape, fire, bullets, sub titles and non-stop hilarity!!!
"The horror of the bourgeoisie can be dislodged only with even more horror!"
Will the line between reality and cinematic fiction be blurry? Tune in
and not know! I hope Guillaume doesn't get a better offer like "ring in
the New Year in Times Square" and cancel on me! If he does I hope he gets
blown up! I know, in my deepest of deep hearts that at least one or two
lonely souls out there, somewhere out in the world will be listening and
watching us (or me) on cam to ring in the new year since they are so sad
and have nothing better to do than watching us (or me) lonely souls have
nothing better to do. Helping people... that's what I (we) am (are).
During the show Guillaume and I may be there too, but only if it's "French"
enough. For a photo of this evening go here.

This will be my Halloween
special. This will be the most scary and depressing 2 hours of radio you
will ever hear. I am warning you now. Do not tune in if you are depressed
or on a hallucinagenic drug. This will not be "I Know What You Did Last
Summer"-scary, this will be "Cannibal Holocaust" or family videotaped murder
scene in "Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer"-scary. I'm sorry but

new material debuted at the recent Sonic Youth benefit show in NYC (if
I can get the files in time), talking about my upcoming trip (pushed back
a wee bit, again - waiting on the credit card to clear), and Gregory
is probably going to drop by and talk about his recent glamorama photo
shoot in LA since he literally called me five minutes after I went off
the air last week. I will be answering any and all questions (to me or
Gregory), barbs and insults, please send me Anthrax via emails and IMs
(email

covering it - dirt galore! I will call him live on the air - ohhhh glamorous!
I even loaned Gregory my camera for the trip! I will of course, much more
importantly, be reading the highly anticipated part 2 of my story "The
Nothing Nothing Nothing Cake" (perhaps Domenic

Association Tepeyac and The
New York Women's Foundation). It's going to me a real mess of
a radio show so tune in! Email questions, requests, comments, razz's and

8/20/01: "Worst show ever" Yow! This show wasn't just infested with technical difficulties... it was wrought with technical difficulties of BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS!!! It was a technical disaster of epic and apocalyptic proportions!!!!! Gregory cancelled at the last minute so Mark was there to fend for himself. Everything was in place; Valerie Solanas and David Foster Wallace stories to tell, music to play, questions to answer, songs to sing about schizophrenic people on the subway. And BOOM. Mark's computer kept freezing AND his modem kept disconnecting AND at things kept "accidentally" getting unplugged AND the power on the breaker went out twice AND there was a spinning demonic dervish hovering around the proceedings most of the time. Yow! Mark did get to sing his song "Schizophrenic Man on the Subway" and the few people who heard it amongst all the John Cage-like gaps of silence while Mark was trying to re-launch all the programs to broadcast his show (only to have the computer freeze up immediately again - usually about four times in a row each time). Too bad Mark wasn't on the air, he has never LAUGHED so much during a "broadcast". Thanks to everyone who tried to tune in - hope to see you next week, demon permitting.
8/13/01:
Mark broadcasts ALONE at Mark's place. LIVE ON MARK'S CAM!!! Email questions,
requests, harassment, bombs, botox advice and comments to Mark.
Gregory is really tired from ...um "studying" all night. I'm gonna play
lots and lots of music and talk about myself and my upcoming trip and maybe
blab some stuff I shouldn't. Hmmmm... maybe I can trick Domenic into talking
when he gets in too. I'll get the chloroform.

friend
GregoryNYC.com
has alas decided to stop doing the show. It was a completley drama-free,
friendly split and we are still great friends. Sorry everyone - no gossip.
Gregory is in a "working a lot" phase right now and just doesn't have the
wherewithall to do the show. Who knows though - he may return one day!!!
UPCOMING SHOWS: probably at Mark's place at MarkAllenCam.com an experiment in self-discovery and TERROR!!!
tune in here for the exact facts every week, as they are subject to change...
