   Hahaha!!!!!! Oh good lord this is my new favorite song of all time. That one in the spacesuit looks like Rita Mareno. I like how the You Tube person calls them “Vanity Zero” Whats the background on these three, will they ever come forward?

   Talk about defining the term “a beat face”! The lead singer looks like a greasy-faced Marilu Henner on qualudes, and in Vanity 6 drag. She should have worn a straight jacket like that crazy Pat Benatar album cover.

   One of the worst things you can do in any live music situation is bring the instrumental music on a tape and sing into a microphone. The sound person always plays the tape too quiet, usually because it was recorded too quiet, and the microphones are always cheap, which you try and overcompensate for by screaming into them. This example above is a sound enginering nightmare.

   I am trying to find out more about this group and where and WHY this originally aired. I immediately recognized the lead singer as Rebecca Front. She was Cherish with a Y on Absolutely Fabulous.
